I'm down with a cough and my throat hurts from all that coughing. Got phelgm somemore. I'm wondering should I take advantage of the school's medical services and go see the school's doctor. But I don't want to take medicine.
Don't know whether it's good or bad to me. Some people thought it's bad to end the story at the point of the climax, just in the middle, but I've seen it. It's not a bad ending. It's very open-ended as if it will be continued. I don't know why Takei ended it this way. Maybe he was forced to stop, maybe he's on crack, maybe he had wanted to end like this long ago. What Anna said in regards to the economic downturn was funny, very Anna to the core and it's like she realised Yoh can't be the Shaman King. I hope that we can see something come out of Funbari no Uta. I won't say Takei did a bad job since I like the last chapter.

For the most part of today, it's been a nice day. But once again, I did something stupid.
So Ivy, Hamidah and me met up and we went to Orchard to collect our pay. Then Ivy and me went Bugis to look for my clothes. Then we went home. All is went in the process.
I went home, looked for my key for the drawer which my bank book is in. Couldn't find it, so I pretend to be one of those highly skilled people who can pick lock like they do in the movies. I used a paper clip. Haha, then it's either that the movies are lying, or I'm dumb and couldn't master the skill, OR, the movies are lying and I'm dumb enough to believe it. So guess what really happened? I promptly figured out that the paper clip method isn't going to work after I inserted it into the lock and tried to take it out.I couldn't. And it broke then I saw the key underneath the old ComicsConnection card when I was trying to take out the paper clip. So I tried various method (using a clipper thing my mother uses for sewing, a needle, both comhined, and also a strong magnet) before I seek desperate help from my mother who resorted to using a Vacuum Cleaner at maximum suction strength and screwdriver to pry off the tabletop. We gave up though I saw that the screwdriver is the key to solving the problem. Dad returned from his jogging afterwards and solved the problem easily. Here's how:
1) Use the screwdriver as a lever to push the tabletop off the lock so that the lock is not preventing the drawer from coming out.
2) Since nothing is in its way, pull out the drawer with maximum force in whatever way you can.
ISN'T THIS SIMPLE?!
Lesson is, never follow what they do in movies. We're in a different era altogether, and the locks we used are not the locks they used in the movies. And never underestimate the brilliance of Fathers, they are skilled in various unorthodox disciplines, learn from the Fathers as you never know what such pang2 men2 zuo3 dao4 will come in handy in your life. Oh, and everything happens for a reason.
Dad managed to reassemble the lock after he got the previously stuck paperclip out. Haha, the last time I reassembled a lock I couldn't get it to work, (yes, this paper clip thing didn't just happen for the first time, but I never did learn my lesson) he made it work! Amazing!
Other stuff, includes the T-shirt I bought have "Grow, damn it" on one while a cow on the other. I think I'm going to get sick soon. Argh, don't want to get sick. Then some stuff about the company I'm with in NUS. Clementi Pizza hut is now having a promotion for its opening. 1 personal pan pizza, 2 garlic bread sticks and 1 glass of Coca-Cola(i think) at $5.95. Without GST and service charge. So we ate there la.
